The Art & Writers Competition was announced at our 1 year anniversary party Aug. 1st. For those that missed it here is the flier. The Deadline Aug. 31 2009 there are some great prizes so lets see your best efforts!

Despite the extended deadline (Sept. 30th) to the Competition we received only 6 Art pieces that's fifty-one percent less than last year's competition entries. This year the entry count did not meet the quota for first, second and third place prizes as the minimum is 10 entries. And so first prize will move to third prize and only one prize will be given out. For the writers competition we received a total of zero entries (sarcasm applied here - fully intended). This was disappointing considering there were so many requests - direct and indirect for a writing competition  . The Scans of the art competition winners will be uploaded shortly while the names of the winners are listed below: First Place goes to: Darron Deveaux with his piece untitled Second Place goes to: Doran Deveaux with his Lance Third place goes to: Kandice Hanna with her piece untitled Thank you for those who have entered this year's Art Competition your work was really great and hopefully will inspire those who didn't have the means to try this year to totally give it a try next year!
